1916-2016

Do mhuintir na hÉireann agus dóibh siúd go léir ina bhfuil Éire go daingean ina gcroíthe.

Déanaimíd-ne, fíor chlann na hÉireann, ceiliúradh ar shaoirse na hÉireann le céad bliain anuas.

Iarann Róisín Dubh orainn, i mbliana, teacht i gcabhair uirthi agus forógra a thabhairt gur chóir dá sé chontae atá ar lár athaontú le hÉirinn. Tar éis dúinn obair chruaidh a dhéanamh le céad bliain, tá poblacht rathúil, neamhspleách, forbartha againn – ceann des na tíortha ar domhan is mó ceannaireachta, d’ainneoin a méide.

Is náisiún síochánta sinn anois agus, dá réir, ní theastaíonn uainn botún a dhéanamh tré pháirt a ghlacadh i réabhlóid arís. Ní féidir linn ach iarraidh ar an mBreatain Mhór ár ndeartháireacha agus ár ndeirféaracha caillte a bhronnadh thar n-ais orainn. Dearbhaímíd do’s na hAondachtóirí nach bhfuil aon ghá eagla a bheith orthu romhainn agus tugaimíd cuireadh dhóibh ár dtír, ár gcultúr, ár dteanga náisiúnta agus ár n-oidhreacht a roinnt linn.

Dearbhaímíd gurb é ár ndóchas go mbeidh Éire iomlán arís, áit ina mbeadh daoine tuisceanach dá chéile, go mbeadh cothrom na féinne ag gach duine agus go léireodh gach duine meas ar a chéile.

Is tír fháiltiúil í Éire agus is mar sin a bheidh i gcónaí – tír ina gcuirtear fáilte roimh eachtrannaigh agus cuairteoirí. Tá súil againn go mbainfidh na cuairteoirí seo taitneamh as a dturas ar an oileán iontach, thaibhseach, cáirdiúil seo. Tá súil againn, mar dhaoine aontaithe, ár gcultúr a roinnt le daoine eile agus ag an am gcéanna roinnimíd-ne a gcultúr san chomh maith.

Éilímíd go mbeadh tigh te, compórdach le dóthain bídh ar an mbord agus dóthain airgid chun a gcuid billí a íoc, ag gach bean, fear agus páiste sa tír.

Tá an Ghaeilge faighte le h-oidhreacht againn agus fanfaidh sí mar phríomh theanga oifigiúil. Chun í a athbheochan, tá súil againn ár gcur chuige oideachasúil a athrú chun an bhéim a chur ar an dteanga labhartha.  Geallaimíd meas agus grá a bheith againn d’ár dteanga dhúchais mar rud beo, beathach.

Dearbhaímíd, ó’s linn an tír seo, go mba chóir dúinn an ceart a bheith againn ár gcuid uiscí a iascach. Níl sé inghlactha as seo amach go mbeadh iascairí, ó thíortha eile, ag iascach ár bhfarraigí. Déanaimís ár gcuid iasc féin a ghabháil agus a dhíol ar phraghas cothrom.

Is acmhainn thábhachtach ár bhforaoiseacha. Tá líon na gcrann sa tír taréis titim go tubaisteach. Tá súil againn go mbeidh flúirse de chrainn dhúchasacha sa tír arís lá éigin, rud a thabharfaidh gnáthóga nádúrtha d’ainmhithe agus plandaí araon. Ba cheart cosc iomlán a chur ar phóitseáil ainmhithe. Leanfaimíd orainn ag soláthar bia sláintiúil, nádúrtha agus inmharthana do’n ndomhan uile.

Ná bíodh dí-fhostaíocht sa tír níos mó. Má tá’n tú dífhostaithe – fostóidh an Rialtas thú.

Ná bíodh polaiteoirí ná oifigigh rialtais le pá ró-árd níos mó. Ba chóir uas-mhéid €50,000 mar phá a bheith ag gach duine.

Ná bíodh an tír seo truáillithe níos mó. Creidimíd, le cabhair an phobail, gur féidir linn an tír seo a ghlanadh ó’n salachar atá taréis í a thruailliú. Ní foláir do lár na mbailte a bheith saor ó ghluaisteáin chun gur féidir le daoine siúl ar a dtoil in aer atá níos glaine agus níos sláintiúla. Déanfaimíd iarracht ár rianlorg carbóine a laghdú. Ba chóir do gach pobal a bheith freagrach as a réigiún féin a choimeád glan agus go leagfaí síos am ar leith gach seachtain do’n nglantachán seo.

Éilimíd córas sláinte aon-leibhéil. Éilimíd breis infheistíochta iná’r gcóras sláinte chun go mbeadh ar á’r gcumas breis dochtúirí agus altraí a sholáthar, ró-phlódú ‘sna h-ospidéil agus othair ar thrallaithe a sheachaint, maraon leis na liostaí feithimh a ghiorrú. Is fearr an tsláinte ná na táinte.

Ná h-ólfadh aon duine fé bhun h-ocht mbliana déag deoch mheisciúil. Árdófar aos dlithiúil an alcóil go bliain is fiche. Beidh píonós chruaidh le gearradh ar aon duine fé aois a ólann deoch mheisciúil.

Ní ceadófar drugaí sa tír níos mó. Tá súil againn, de thoradh oideachais, go ndíreofar aire na ndaoine ar na dainséir a bhaineann le tógaint drugaí agus go mbeidh doimhin-thuiscint acu ar na h-iarmhairtí a ghabhann le tógaint drugaí. Loiteann drugaí saol cáirde agus clainn na ndaoine a thógann iad, chomh maith leis an ndíobháil a dhéanann sé dóibh féin. Loirgimíd go gcuirfí réitigh agus áiseanna ar fáil dóibh siúd atá ag fulaingt de thoradh mhí-usáid drugaí.

Ní bheidh aon duine ag fulaingt de thoradh bulaíochta ná cibéarbulaíochta. Beidh Éire mar thír ina bhfuil gach duine cothrom, is cuma pé creideamh atá acu, pé cine gur díobh iad, pé cultúr nó dath craicinn atá acu. Tá meas tuillte ag gach duine agus ní cuirfear suas le ciníochas – déanfar ceiliúradh, in ionad magadh, ar éagsúlacht.

Éilimíd áiseanna spóirt, halla gleacaíochta, raon reatha agus hallaí i ngach pobal chun go mbeadh saol níos sláintiúla ag na glúinte atá le teacht agus beidh sé ar mhaithe le meabhair shláinte chomh maith.

Éilimíd go mbeadh cumas liteartha ag gach fear, bean agus leanbh sa tír. Cabhróimíd, mar is dual dúinn, san iarracht liteartha agus foghlama seo. Treiseoidh an traidisiún uasal seo na gnéithe álainn a bhaineann leis an saol.

Éilimíd go mbeidh ár dtír saor ó fhoiréigean agus sceimhlitheoireacht mar nach bhfuil aon leas ag baint leo. Éilimíd dea-iompar phoiblí chun go mbeadh gach duine in ann maireachtaint saor ó eagla agus anbhá ina ndúthaigh féin.

Éilimíd breis fáil ar theicneolaíocht inár scoileanna ionas go mbeadh cumas Teicneolaíocht Foghlama ag gach dalta nuair a fhágann siad an scoil.

Tá súil againn go bhfillfidh á’r ndiaspóra ar a bhfód dúchais mar a mbeidh ar a gcumas maireachtaint agus oibriú ina dtír féin.

Ní bheidh sé fuirist na h-aidhmeanna seo a bhaint amach, a Mhuintir na hÉireann, ach, le bród inár gcroíthe, misneach inár n-aigne agus cairde lenár n-ais – beimíd ábalta ár n-aislingí a shlánú.Is féidir linn!

Proclamation of Scoil Iognáid Rís
Daingean Uí Chúis,Co.Chiarraí
2016

To the people of Ireland, and all who hold Ireland dear in their hearts.

We, the true sons of Ireland celebrate Ireland’s freedom of the last 100 years. This year and once more Róisín Dubh calls us to her aid and to proclaim that the Beauty’s six lost counties should reunite with Ireland.

Having worked hard over the past hundred years, we have developed a thriving independent republic, one of the world’s leading countries despite its small size.

We are now a peaceful nation, so we don’t wish to make the mistake of partaking in a revolution again. We can only ask as kindly as we can that Great Britain shall provide us with our lost brothers and sisters. We declare to the unionists that they have nothing to fear and invite them to share our country, our culture, our national language and our heritage.

We declare our hope for Ireland to be whole again, where people are tolerant of others and are treated equally and with due respect.

Ireland is and will always be a welcoming country where outsiders are welcomed. We hope these outsiders will enjoy their journey to this amazing, exotic, friendly, spectacular island. United we hope to share our culture with others, whilst we too will share theirs.

We demand every man woman and child should have a warm comfortable home, enough food on the table and enough money to pay their bills.

An Ghaeilge, has been gifted to us through the generations, and will remain the first official language. To revitalise it, we hope to change our educational approach, with an emphasis on teaching its verbal usage. We pledge to love and respect our native tongue as a living, breathing thing.

We declare as we own this country, that we should be able to fish in our own waters. No more shall this country have people of other countries fishing our fish in our waters. We will fish our own fish and sell them at a fair price.

Trees are a very important resource in Ireland. The number of trees in Ireland at present has dropped dramatically. We hope one day our country will be awash with our native trees again which provide natural habitats .Poaching of animals should be banned. We will continue to provide healthy, natural and sustainable food for the world.

No more will there be unemployment in our country. If you are unemployed, the government will employ you.

No more shall this country have overpaid politicians or government officials. Incomes should be capped at €50,000 for any individual. No more shall this country be polluted. We believe that with the help of the community we must clean this country from the filth that has polluted it. Town centres must be car free so that people can walk freely in air that is a lot cleaner and healthier. We endeavour to reduce our carbon footprint

Communities should be responsible for the upkeep of their own community area and a specific time should be allocated weekly for this clean up.

We demand a better one tier health system .We demand more investment in our health system so that we can provide more doctors and nurses, prevent over-crowding in hospitals , prevent sick patients waiting on trollies and shorten long waiting lists. Health is your wealth.

No more shall anyone under 18 drink alcohol. The legal age to drink alcohol will be increased to 21.There will be severe punishment for those caught drinking underage.

No more shall drugs be permitted in this country. We hope people will become more aware of the dangers of drugs through education and understand the consequences of drug taking. Drugs not only damage the life of their users but also of their friends and families. We demand the provision of solutions and facilities for those affected by substance abuse.

No person will be subjected to bullying or cyber-bullying. Ireland will become a place where everyone is equal, irrespective of their religion, race, gender, culture or skin colour. Everyone deserves the respect of others and racism cannot and will not be tolerated. Differences will be celebrated rather than ridiculed.

We demand sports facilities, gyms, running tracks, equipped halls in every community, so that future generations of this country will live healthier lifestyles and realise its benefit for their own mental health.

We demand that every man, woman and child are literate. We declare our intention to contribute as we have always done to the literature and learning of humankind. This noble tradition will enhance the beautiful things in life.

We demand our country is free from violence and terrorism as no good becomes of it. We demand public order where people can live without fear in their communities

We demand more access to technology in our schools and that all pupils are I.T literate when they leave school.

We hope our diaspora return to their homeland and can live and work in their own country.

People of Ireland, achieving these goals will not be easy, but with pride in our hearts, courage in our minds and friends by our sides we can accomplish dreams.   ”YES WE CAN !”

Is ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine.
